THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU.

All Esio products come with a hassle-free warranty that covers repair, replacement, and ongoing maintenance. By purchasing our products, you agree to the terms and conditions of Esio’s warranty policy. Esio reserves the right to amend this policy without prior notice. A. Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty applies only to “electric storage water heater” products sold under the brand name “Esio” by ESING INDUSTRY (M) SDN. BHD. in Peninsular Malaysia. It does not apply to other products or to products sold outside Peninsular Malaysia. For further clarification or assistance, please consult Esio Customer Service.

B. Warranty Period

The warranty period will be calculated from the date of the purchase. If you purchase our product on our official selling channels (e.g. official website, Lazada, Shopee), we will have records of your purchase hence can confirm your warranty coverage. If your purchase was not made on our official selling channels, please keep a copy of the receipt at your end during the Warranty Period, as it may be needed when in dispute.

If you do not have your proof of purchase, your warranty will start 90 days after the date of manufacture, according to our records. We reserve the final right to adjust the period of your warranty based on the records in our system.

We encourage you to register your product on our official website within 30-days of purchase, this will help to determine the Warranty Period and we will extend it by 1 (one) year on your product for all 3 (three) items. However, this extension will not be granted if failure to register within 30-days of purchase. We might ask for proof of purchase when in dispute.

*If the product is being used at a commercial place, all of the above are guaranteed for 1 (one) year only, and will not be included in the 1 (one) year extension program.

The warranty period displayed on the inquiry page of our official website only applies to products installed and used in non-commercial premises within Peninsular Malaysia. The final determination of product warranty coverage rests with us.

C. Scope of Warranty

If your Esio product has problems operating during the 1st year of the Warranty Periods, we will provide you with unlimited free warrantied repairs, maintenance of parts and components, change of heating element, and replacement of the water tank. As long as the product is functioning properly, ordinary wear and tear of the product is considered normal and will not be treated.

After the 1st year, we will still provide you with unlimited warrantied repairs and free-of-charge of the parts fixed or replaced in the remaining time into the Warranty Periods. The only charge that will incur is the labour cost.

At Esio, we thrive to reduce environmental impact. Thus, when the Warranty Period ends, we will still provide you with unlimited repairs for at least 10 years to come. Cost of labour and parts will be posted after the maintenance is completed.

Do note that it is not always the case that the no-hot-water issue is because of the breakdown of the water heater. There are many other factors that could result in this situation including but not limited to pipeline burst/ jam, broken circuit breaker and broken mixer tap. If our technician identifies that the problem is not because of the Esio water heater, we might not be able to assist you with a repair.

D. Void of Warranty 

Esio will not be able to offer the product warranty for cases or scenarios stated below: 

  1. The installer fails to follow the installation guidance stated in the product manual.
  2. Repairs are conducted or attempted by individuals not authorized by Esio.
  3. Any of the components are altered or modified or removed.
  4. Water supply is not provided by an approved water operator by the Malaysia Government.
  5. The usage of water containing chloride or chemicals exceeds 20ppm.
  6. The warranty coverage excludes the following scenarios: Improper installation, lightning, natural disasters, pest attacks, fire, negligence, accidents, floods, pollution effects, and abnormal voltage or the utilization of generators.

However, we will still provide fix & repair service where possible with charges apply..

E. Other terms and conditions

  • The warranty becomes effective at the date of purchase. Please retain your proof of purchase. If you do not have your proof of purchase, your warranty will start 90 days after the date of manufacture, according to our records.
  • All work will be carried out by Esio or its authorized agents.
  • Any parts which are replaced will become the property of Esio.
  • The warranty provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
  • Intentional cosmetic decoration or modification that may impact a product’s resale, refurbishment, restoration or usability may void the terms of your product’s warranty and the Esio return policy.

F. After Sales Service Coverage (Updated on Jan 2026)

Due to manpower limitations, as of January 2026, we are only able to provide installation and after-sales repair services in Johor, Melaka, and Seremban.

For customers in other areas within Peninsular Malaysia, we are still able to deliver our products free of charge. However, installation and on-site repair services will not be available in those areas.

For units requiring repair in other states within Peninsular Malaysia, we can provide the necessary spare parts free of charge, provided the unit is still under warranty. The warranty will remain valid as long as the repair is carried out by a technician in accordance with our provided guidelines.
