When installing a Storage Water Heater, it is essential to ensure the following 4 environmental conditions are met for optimal performance:

Wire Conductor
a. Provide a dedicated circuit with a power outlet rated at 240V. Amperage of 13A, 16A, or 20A (depending on the kW power rating of the model). The standard calculation formula for current: Power (W) / Voltage (V) = Current (I), which is in Amperes (A). For example, a model with 3kW has a current of 3000W / 240V = 12.5A. In theory, a 13A power switch is suitable and won't overload. However, according to Malaysia Suruhanjaya Tenaga’s guidelines, the installation of electrical products with ratings of 3kW, 3.8kW, and 4.5kW requires a 20A power outlet socket for optimal safety protection.
b. Wire diameter of at least 4mm²
c. Must be permanently earthed
💡 Note: If there is already an existing power supply dedicated to the water heater in your home, you can typically find the maximum current load (in Amperes) it supports on the switch outside the bathroom. If no power supply has been installed yet, please allocate a 20A supply for the Esio Storage water heater.

To ensure seamless connectivity between the water source and the storage water heater, we kindly ask for your confirmation regarding the pre-embedding of both cold and hot water pipes within your residence.

Drainage
To address potential drainage and pressure release during the heating process of the storage water heater, it is imperative to ensure that the installation location is equipped with a drainage pipe or drainage hole.

Wall Structure
To ensure the stability of the installation and safety of use, the wall structure must be made of concrete or reinforced concrete (RC) material.
