What do the numbers in the model name signify? How about the “H” in the model name?

Esio offers a diverse range of models for customers to choose from, each uniquely named to distinguish its specific functions and purposes. Through a combination of numbers and letters, you can effortlessly identify the model that best suits your needs, ensuring your hot water requirements are met with precision.

Differences between Series E & Series S

The first 2 digits of the model number

The first 2 digits of the model number represent the capacity of the water tank in litres. With our exclusive patented Thermal Amplification Tech, seamlessly integrating Instant and Storage water heating for reliable high flow, fast heating, and consistent temperatures.

For example: In the case of EM-5545, while the inner tank capacity is 55 litres, it can provide approximately 320 litres of warm water at 40°C. (Calculated using a standard shower head)

The continuous water supply varies across models due to differences in inner tank capacity and power output. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at Esio Malaysia WhatsApp. We are committed to assisting you in selecting the water heater that best fits your needs.

* The figures above are theoretical data and provided for reference only.

💡 When choosing the tank capacity, it's important to consider factors like pipe distance, temperature variations, and shower fixtures (such as shower head or rain shower), as they can affect the overall water output. Opting for a larger model is recommended to prevent insufficient water supply.

The differences between the models ending with 30, 38, and 45

The Esio storage water heater offers three heating specifications: 3.0, 3.8, and 4.5 kW. It's recommended that you select the appropriate heating specification based on your household's power switch. Before finalizing your decision, please take into account the following aspects:

Ampere Rating of the Power Switch

Prior to selecting the optimal heating specification, it is advisable to inspect the ampere rating of the "power switch" for the water heater within your home's electrical panel.

The heating specifications correspond to the numerical endings of the model

  • 3.0 kW ➡ model ending with “30”
  • 3.8 kW ➡ model ending with “38”
  • 4.5 kW ➡ model ending with “45”

Choose the heating specification based on the ampere rating of the power switch

With a voltage of 240V, considering the ampere rating of the switch:

1. More than or equal to (≥) 20A : All three specifications 3.0, 3.8, and 4.5kW are compatible. Opting for the 4.5 kW specification would ensure expedited heating performance.

2. More than or equal to (≥)16A : Opt for either the 3.0 kW or 3.8 kW heating specifications. But according to Malaysia Suruhanjaya Tenaga’s guidelines, using a 20A power supply is the safest option.

💡 If you opt for the 4.5 kW heating specification alongside a 16A supply, it's important to note that there may be instances of power interruption, as the current supply might not adequately meet the product's requirements.

💡According to Malaysia Suruhanjaya Tenaga’s guidelines, the installation of electrical products with ratings of 3kW, 3.8kW, and 4kW requires a 20A power outlet socket for optimal safety protection. If the electricity supply for your water heater is already installed in your home, you can typically find the maximum amperage of the electricity supply on the power switch located outside the bathroom. If the electricity outlet has not yet been installed, please ensure a 20A electricity supply is reserved for use with Esio storage water heater.

The meaning of “H” at the end of the model
